Why we're building Nominate.AI
July 24, 2026
Every data project we've ever touched starts the same way: not with analysis, but with a fight. The data is spread across a dozen places, each in its own format, each with its own duplicates and gaps. Before anyone can ask an interesting question, someone spends days — sometimes weeks — just getting the inputs to line up.
Nominate.AI exists to take that part off your plate.
The idea, plainly
We aggregate data. That means we collect it from wherever it lives, clean it so the numbers can be trusted, and structure it into something consistent and queryable. Then we hand it back in a shape you can actually use.
That's it. No grand platform pitch — at least not yet. We're early, and we'd rather do one thing well than promise ten things we haven't built.
Why bother doing it well
The reconciliation work is unglamorous, and that's exactly why it gets rushed. A half-cleaned dataset quietly poisons everything downstream: the report that's subtly wrong, the model that learned from duplicates, the decision made on a number nobody double-checked.
Doing it well — once, carefully — pays off every time the data gets used after that. We think that's worth building a company around.
Where we are
Early. The business model is still taking shape, and this site is a starting point rather than a finished story. If you're staring at a pile of messy data and wishing someone would just make it clean, tell us about it. We're genuinely interested in the problems people are hitting.
More notes to come.
